I am an internal medicine resident and economist at UCSF.
My research examines how socioeconomic status shapes health and how health shapes economic opportunity. I received a PhD in economics from UC Berkeley in 2023, advised by David Card.
My clinical interests are in hospital medicine, diagnostic reasoning, and care for the underserved. As a resident, I care for hospitalized patients and a small primary care panel.
Alongside academic research and clinical care, I write occasional essays and poems about medicine.
